Blue Ribbon for Child Abuse Prevention

About Us

The Willow Tree Cornerstone Child Advocacy Center celebrated its grand opening on January 12, 2011. Specially trained staff at Willow Tree are now working with law enforcement, Brown County Child Protective Services and other community professionals to assist victims of child abuse in Green Bay and surrounding communities.

Willow Tree provides a refuge for abused children and their families to seek help and heal throughout the investigation and prosecution of their case. All components involved in child abuse cases, including the medical exam, forensic interview, victim advocacy, and ongoing therapy, located within this one centralized facility to increase ease and comfort for the child.

On average, there are more than 3,500 reports of child abuse in Brown County each year. Willow Tree Child Advocacy Center will lessen the overall impact of abuse in our community by reducing the trauma experienced by a child, increasing the prosecution and conviction rates of child abuse offenders, and preventing future child abuse through awareness and prevention education.
